With an Oz Experience Bruce pass to get you round you will have loads of flexibility to explore at your leisure. Valid for 6 months and drives you all along the east coast of Australia. You can hop on or of as you please. Along the way we have a lot of exiting activities and adventures booked in for you.
This Xtreme Gap gap year trip combines the Oz Experience Bruce pass with the following unforgettable adventures:
- Awesome Sydney intro and Arrival package
- Learning to surf at a cool surf camp
- Exploring the world heritage site of Fraser Island by 4x4 (self drive)
- Cruising the amazing Whitsunday Islands and setting foot on Whitehaven beach.
- Having the adrenaline shot of your life skydiving at mission beach
- And Diving* or Snorkeling the great barrier reef on a liveaboard.
*If you have diving certifications - if not we can custom add an open water course for you, or you can snorkel the reef.
What do all the activities booked for you include?
Arrival includes:
- Airport transfer 4 nights in a cool central Sydney backpackers
- Sydney harbour cruise
- Full day blue mountains tour
We know it can be quite scary arriving in another country for the first time, and it is a great help if the first few night are booked. We have booked you in for the first 4 nights and included some nice tours. This will make it easy to meat some other people and get in the travel and party mood!
5 day surf camp includes:
- Transfer from Sydney to Byron Bay
Most meals including 3 x dinners, 3 x breakfast, 2 x lunch, - Cool surf instructors.
- Surf Lessons: 7 lessons, 5 days surfing.
- Equipment: Boards, wetsuits, and accessories all provided.
- Accommodation: 4 nights and 5 days at 2 different luxury surf camps
This trip departs every Monday. You decide yourself which Monday you want to start the trip. The surf camp is a great way to start your trip as this is an activity you can practice all along the east coast of Australia.
The Fraser Island 4x4 includes:

- Guide, but you get the opportunity to drive your self too

The Fraser Island off roading experience is one of the highlights of any gap year or Australia east coast trip. Fraser Island is a world heritage site, with many stunning fresh water lakes and plenty of dingoes. You are given a Toyota land cruiser or land rover and set free to explore the worlds biggest sand island. Camping under a million bright stars and swimming in crystal clear lakes, you are sure to meet lots of people and share some cool adventures.
Whitsundays sailing Cruise includes:

Cruise through the amazing Whitsunday islands on a liveaboard taking in some amazing beaches and scenery, spending a night on the boat, you will enjoy good food and on unforgettable sunset over the great barrier reef.
