First of all give a big hug to Ricardo and the girl working in the Papagayo, they were very nice and helpful. The hosteria was a very ok place, especially when having your own room and I appreciated enormously the hot shower after the rainy/snowy day of hike.
I appreciate the company of the guides Marcelo and Ruiz. Especially Ruiz is very caring and knowledgeable, especially taking into consideration his age. I liked very much he put much emphasis on my safety. Of course I will recommend this trip in the future! Big hug.

We had a very good time in Ecuador, with Daniel who is an excellent guide and who drive and manage us very carefully, and in all hotels we were, especially in Papagayo, also if it was some little problems with heating. The people there were attentive for us and the food was excellent. Thanks for everything!

We climbed Cotopaxi volcano in 2010 and we had a wonderful experience. I would like to stress though that the climb is VERY physically challenging and I would recommend that you need to be at a fitness level that is above average. Whilst there is nothing you can do about altitude sickness, ie you won't know how it affects you until you start climbing, your level of fitness is something you can consider and it will make the experience far more worthwhile.
