I have just finished the 16 Day Tour from Auckland to Christchurch, and had the most amazing time of my life ! I was a young (18) solo traveller, and so was unsure of how I would mingle with the rest of the group. But our tour guide Verve, pulled us all together and made sure we all got on from the moment we met. The tour pretty much covers all the places you want to see in New Zealand, plus it visits some other 'surprises' along the way. Verve made sure there was always something going on, and that if you weren't doing any of the many activities that day, he would find something else for you to do. There are heaps of activities to do, of which you can pre-book them before you go on tour.

However Verve gives you the flexibility to wait until you arrive on tour, and then pick your activities, and keeps a running tab of what you've done, and you just pay and the end of the tour. I would highly reccommend this tour to anyone who wants to see an amazing country, with a fantastic tour guide. From the first point of contact with the office, to meeting Verve and Murray (our bus), to some outstanding scenery, the tour was absolutely unbelievable. It was sweet as.....

Just got home from my life changing experience with in New Zealand. I went on the 16 Amplified tour to experience the culture and enjoy the natural surroundings but what i got back was more than I imagined.

For a person that can't swim, afraid of heights and can't drive, I pushed passed my comfort zone by doing bungy jumping, skydiving, kayaking, jumping into a lake from a small cliff (under the careful eye of Verve, our tour guide of course) and driving a quad bike.

The people you meet and bond with is what makes the tour so special. We encourage one another in the activities that we do and look out for each other when things do not go to plan. I have met people that I would love to catch up with in the future and their insight on how they see the world has really broaden my mind.

Verve, the tourguide, went above and beyond, with the hiccups that came along his way due to the aftermath of the earthquake. Our group was a bit bigger than normal with 18 people on the bus, yet he was able to schedule everyone in for all their activities/requests and gave some extra surprises along the way, which is very impressive!! He has a good knowledge of what is available in various areas of New Zealand and at no point did i felt that our tour was interrupted as he quickly finds alternative activities for us to do. He feels like part of our family more than our tour guide/bus driver as he joins in with our activities, meals and parties! He is "Oarsome"!

I have grown more confident as a person and look forward to doing more travelling in the near future. Will definately recommend to my work mates, relatives and other friends. Thank you for a "Sweet as" holiday. Much love Anney
