  • Accommodation

    The accommodation is shared, the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and often have great views. There are no more than 2 single beds in the rooms. Shower and Western style toilet are shared with the other guests. See more about the accommodation at the Kung Fu School here.

    Please note that rooms are not heated and as the showers are solar heated there will be limited hot water available. During the winter months it is best to bring warm clothes.

    All meals are taken at the academy and are prepared by the academy chefs. Meals are made in local styles and with local produce; however, some Western dishes are served occasionally. You will findlots of fresh ingredients including rice, vegetables and chicken. Please note that the food served is basic and will probably be very different to the Western style 'Chinese' food that you will be used to. However, the food will be nutritious and provide a good diet to support the level of training you will be doing. Various different diets can be catered for with prior notice.

    Our school is surrounded by Bamboo forests, waterfalls, rivers, lakes and mountains, including the second highest mountain if Fujian Province (E Mei Feng) at 1714m.On weekends when you are giving yourself a well deserved rest from your training, you will most likely be heading off with the other students to explore the numerous local attractions, in and around Taining.
