Train as a professional dive master in one of East Africa's most beautiful beach front settings, with the Indian Ocean providing the backdrop for an incredible couple of months living the life diving with manta rays, humpback whales and Whalesharks everyday! Tofo, has one of the highest populations with juvenile whale sharks in the world.

    Your accommodation is just a few meters from the beach in Tofu. not just any beach either, this is one of the most beautiful coastal areas in Africa, with amazing sunrises over the Indian Ocean. The lodge is hidden in the heart of a coconut grove. The accommodation is eco friendly, meaning that it is largely built from natural materials.

    The resort has its own bar and restaurant where you can chill after a day of diving and meet up with friends. They serve fresh veggie and fish dishes but also nice pizza's and the beer is always as it should be: Cold.

    There is also a kitchen where you can make your own food and cook with friends, there is a great camp fire place and a nice pool to chill by.

    You will sleep in a big and aerie dorm with other backpackers and divers. The bathrooms are shared.

    Please note that bedding is not included, so we advise you bring a sleeping sheet (a sleeping bag would be too hot) in Mosquito net.

     

    Food

    food is not included during this course, however there are cooking facilities available at the resort, but you can also eat out incredibly cheaply.

     

    Eating out in restaurants is sometimes a gamble in Africa, however there are plenty of fresh seafood barbecue places, the resort has a great restaurant, and the local coordinators that the dive school can tell you where to go and find the best food and bargains. Budget around £10 per day for meals extra.
