1.    Why did you choose to travel with Xtreme Gap Year. Was it price, programmes, the fear of travelling alone, your parents...
Xtreme Gap had an easy but professional website that made it effortless for me to find a trip that I was looking for. It was suited towards people around my age which made it even more appealing as it included accomodation, costs of the course I was doing, and also any help that I needed - I could get it!
 

2.    Why did you decide to book through Xtreme Gap Year What could we improve to inform you better about your trip before you leave?
As mentioned before, it was the effortless ease Xtreme Gap made the whole booking process as well as all the help they gave me eg. contacts not only from the company but also from people living in Koh Tao I could email my questions to. The only thing is I would have loved to know what to expect on a day to day base, as this was a bit vague on the website. (we will improve it Lizzy, thanks!)

3.    Was the trip the same, better or worse then you thought it would be?
It could only have been so much better than I expected! Your expectations are always different from what you will actually experience, but overall the trip was more amazing than I could have ever imagined.

4.    What was your best experience during your travels.
Think about overcoming fears, meeting new friends, getting to know a new skill, seeing amazing places etc.
I think all of those examples sums it up, but it's always great to meet new people and form friendships that will last longer than just the 3 months you spend together. Doing something different with diving was the best experience by far, and I not only gained a new skill but also improved over time and had great fun whilst doing it - along with working came the adventure of meeting people, seeing outstanding environments and really jumping into every opportunity.

5.    What was the worst experience during your travel, was there anything you did not expect, what did not live up to your expectations and most of all why?
Becoming ill during the middle of my stay. Of course it's nothing that can be predicted, However, once the aerinfection was subsided, I had an amazing last couple weeks - outstanding.

6.    General remarks, tips and feedback. Or just a great story about your trip.
Thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm so pleased with the work I was given as a videographer in the end and the opportunites I got to experience that I am already planning my trip back to Koh Tao in December! Thank you for all your help.
