Well, I did my diving trip and I had the most amazing two months on Gili Trawangan in may-june 2011. I had to first do the rescue course anyway and then when I realized the Gilis beeing a wonderful place to dive I decided to do my divemasters there also. Now I just miss everything, the island, people and specially diving. Im thinking of going to asia next year for a longer time, just dive n dive.. :) but anyway, I wanna thank you xtreme gap for encouraging me to go do the divemaster programme. I actually "found" The Gilis threw your fb profile. Your programmes sounds really cool, for example thailand fitness camp could be something I one day book :)

Been to Gilis many times... one of the safest & coolest place on earth. Dove there a few times... water is crystal clear and simply fantastic. I saw 7 big fat sharks sleeping at noon and while we were outnumbered by them, the whole experience was just thrilling. (c'monnn we all know they dont bite us these reef sharks!!! hehehh). So i would insist. GO TO GILI'S!!! Dont miss the sunset. I mean it!!!

All of the equipment was new and well-maintained and the staff was friendly and well-trained. The reefs had some damage, but overall the diving was fun and there are really good sites around the Gilis. The thing I particularly liked about this dive shop is that the staff was not only great during dive trips, but was friendly outside of them as well. As I was staying at the resort, it was great hanging out with them around the dive shop and enjoying a beer after a long day of diving.
