Your ’Just Landed’ info session starts at 11.30 our team will provide an overview of everything you need to know for your first week in Australia and explain the fun stuff included in your package. We organise bank cards, tax file numbers, explain about jobs and travelling in Australia, NZ & Fiji. You will meet the rest of the group you will be spending the week with, so no worries about travelling alone, everyone is in the same boat and this is where the fun begins!
Then we take a guided walking tour of the city including Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Opera House and the Botanic Gardens. Bring your camera - there are loads of photo opportunities along the way! Meet the group that evening for our Welcome Dinner. (Dinner and 1 drink included).
There’s no better way to discover beautiful Sydney Harbour! We take a cruise of Sydney Harbour and check out the sights including Darling Harbour, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Fort Dennison, Luna Park and Watson’s Bay. Take an awesome cliff-top walk, swim at amazing beaches and enjoy the spectacular views of Sydney by boat. Spend the day cruising, swimming and chilling on Sydney Harbour! The group meets again tonight at another of our favourite party bars.
Today we depart the city for our 3-day/ 2-night Sydney Beach Escape. Located north of Sydney the area is famous for its stunning beaches, amazing sand dunes and abundance of Aussie wildlife including dolphins, whales, koalas, echidnas and possums. The Accommodation is set within 6 acres of rainforest, just 5 minutes walk to the beach and home to Josie, a tame kangaroo who lives on the property. Check out the beach and have a swim before we enjoy pizzas for dinner. Grab a torch and come possum-spotting. (Dinner included).
After breakfast we explore the sand dunes by 4WD, learn about local Aboriginal culture from our informative guides and then ride to the highest dunes to try sandboarding! We return to Basecamp for lunch then we take a guided bush walk through Tomaree National Park. Enjoy stunning scenery and breathtaking views and the chance to see koalas in the treetops (all year round) and migrating whales (May - November). Tonight we enjoy a BBQ dinner and drinks around the campfire. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)
Today we take an amazing dolphin watching cruise and get up close to wild bottlenose dolphins. There’s also a chance to see turtles and whales. Relax on deck or ride in the boom net while dolphins swim underneath. Then we hit the beach for a swim before heading back to Sydney. Check into WakeUp and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. (Breakfast included).
Get dressed up for a fun night on the town! Meet the Group at one of our favourite party bars before jumping on our Sydney Party Bus for our Sydney Pub Crawl. We visit 5 bars in the city and near the beach and receive a free drink at each one!(Express entry to 5 bars and 5 drinks included).
Let’s hit the beach! Today we take atour along Sydney’s cliff-top coastline from Coogee to Bondi and check out six beaches along the way. We’ll grab a beer in Bondi before heading back to the city. It’s the perfect way to unwind after an awesome first week in Sydney!
After a week of having fun, today’s the day to get serious. Meet at offices to begin applying for jobs, organise shared accommodation in Sydney or plan your onward travel. Choose your free Barista, Bar Skills or Cocktail course and get ready to get the job you want in Australia!

Today is all about settling into your new surroundings, the jet lag will be kicking in a bit so you might want to take it a little easy today, especially as the the group meets again tonight at another of our favourite party bars and good times!
Today you can get to grips with Sydney on a walking tour of the main sites, this is optional and also occurs on the Friday as well. Sydney opera house, the botanical gardens, China Town, The Queen victoria building and plenty more. The Tour kicks of at 10am until about 3.30pm. This is a great way to break the ice with other backpackers and get to know the really Sydney. Many people spend the day getting to know the city a bit better and start applying for job, or work on their CV´s at the office.
Free Day, why not head to the Sydney Zoo, or the Aquarium to get to know Australia´s unique animals? Perhaps brave the Sydney harbour bridge? In the evenings there is usually a BBQ at the accommodation in side bar.

Time to get serious
After a week of having fun, today’s the day to get serious. Meet at offices to begin applying for jobs, organise shared accommodation in Sydney or plan your onward travel. Choose your free Barista, Bar Skills or Cocktail course and get ready to get the job you want in Australia!
From this point you end the trip, but you ozzie adventure begins! You will certainly not be alone, as you have 12 months of support, job offers, Cv reviews and most likely already a good circle of mates down under. Who knows where your stint down under may lead you.
Many opts to put of the world of work just a little longer and go on the 5 day surf tour. The bus will pick you up from the hostel on the Wednesday morning at 6:15. This surf trip is a lot of fun, you can opt to finish in Brisbane or return to Sydney to get a job there.
Want to work in the surf industry? Well we have a surf instructor course too, depending on your surfing skills it will take you 1 to 3 months to become a surf instructor.
Sailing? Another great job is work on sail ships and yachts in the Withsundays. The sailing course in Australia of Xtreme Gap will teach you how to become competent crew in less then a month, after that there is a 99% change on a job. Not bad!
