Wildlife conservation programmes tend to come in two broad categories: land and marine projects. Through Xtreme Gap Year you can undertake Marine based scientific research on our whale shark conservation project project or get up close and personal with the ocean’s greatest predator the great white shark.
For land-based projects, we can take you to the heart of Africa on our very popular Namibia conservation project where it is not unusual to play with baby baboons, all set in the most amazing surroundings with plenty of lions and cheaters another big cats all around.
