At the MMA training camp we have all kind of training sessions. From total beginners to advanced and even professionals train here. It is a very stimulating environment that makes you want to train harder and get even better!
There are two different MMA group training sessions
Morning group session (Monday to Friday). 2 hour beginner to intermediate training: 9:00-11:00
Open to anyone regardless of skill level or experience.
This class is designed for the individual who is looking to discover the martial art of submission grappling or already has up to 12 months experience. Grappling arts will include Sambo, Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Catch wrestling, etc. The instructions will be focused on expanding your knowledge of grappling to improve your overall MMA performance.
Afternoon group session (Monday to Friday) 2 and a bit hour intermediate to advance training. 16:00-18:15
Open to anyone with at least 12 months of experience in grappling art.
Training for everyone looking to compete in Mixed Martial Arts. Instruction will be at a faster pace than the morning group
training session and the focus will be more on strategy, conditioning, and overall performance. The training begins with 3 rounds of shadow, then pads and sparring under the supervision of a champion Muay Thai fighters. After the striking, class continues with various MMA oriented grappling drills, followed by a competition level cardio session.
Two times a day Muay Thai sessions for beginners and 2 times a day for Advanced
If you want to train as much as possible it is easy to join the 2 hour Muay Thai sessions. You can train (no matter how much of a beginner or how good you are) 2 times a day. The morning sessions are from 10 am to 12 and the afternoon sessions are from 4 pm to 6 pm every Monday to Friday.
Saturday open mat
Saturday we finish the training sessions at 12 and from that time open mat starts. Open Mat is similar to a school Study Hall. Students can train on whatever they want and there will be an instructor there to answer your questions.
This is a Boot Camp! So 2 hours of training a day is not enough! Next to the MMA training there are so many other classes you can join at the MMA school:

Professional Introduction
We understand this is more then one person can handle. That is why on arrival you sit down with a rep of Xtreme Gap Year to go over the options and put together a schedule that will suit you best.
You will also have access to other one to one classes with different martial arts specialties (these are not included in the price but available for a small fee payable locally) including:

Group Stretch
Stretches are to include total body. Class will sit in a circle and will conduct stretches starting with the lower body and working in a progressive manner completing with the upper body. Neck crunches will conclude the stretching exercise, Sets of 50 to include all range of movement. DRILLING Technique will be demonstrated by the instructor, observed by the class participants and eventually practiced by the participant for the instructor to witness and provide constructive feedback. Instructional material covered will vary depending on size, skill, and logical flow of the course.
Cardiovascular Endurance and Plyometric Training
This portion of the MMA class will increase a participants overall fitness, providing them with the tools necessary to achieve their own personal goals. Students will be expected to participate to their full ability, however, drills and exercises may be modified by the instructor for individuals struggling to maintain with the class pace. Workouts will be designed to increase cardio endurance, decrease body fat, and improve overall athleticism.
Lets Roll MMA
Students will be given adequate time to spar/drill/incorporate the daily lesson. The instructor will pair students into groups and designate timed rounds, allowing individuals to compete in a non-confrontational atmosphere.
Mandatory MMA Equipment
Students will need to wear appropriate clothing including undergarments, shirt, and shorts (no zipper or ripped clothes). Gi pants may be worn. Finger and Toe Nails need to be trimmed and neatly kept. Individuals will be expected to own a mouth guard. Jock protector and cup are optional.
